Cecilia Cheung's nude portrait by artist Yang Linchuan
Cecilia Cheung (ÕÅ°ØÖ¥) is considering going to court to ban a nude portrait of her.
An exhibition in Nanjing by mainland artist Yang Linchuan (ÑîÁÖ´¨) has drawn not just a lot of public attention, but also the Hong Kong actress’ ire.
Nude portraits in the show appear to be of actresses Cecilia, Liu Xiaoqing (ÁõÏþÇì), and Sun Feifei (Ëï·Æ·Æ).
The artist, however, angrily rebuked Cecilia for being “oversensitive” about the image he did of her.
"Yes, I was painting Cecilia Cheung. But if she dared to pose for photos, why should she be afraid of my painting her? I’m so puzzled,” Linchuan claimed during an interview.
Sohu reported another actress was also considering suing and asking for compensation, but did not say which one.
